Service Blue is a service operated by Business Guy LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801. Contact: help@serviceblue.app. The website serviceblue.app is owned and operated by Business Guy LLC.

Terms of Service

The service. Service Blue (operated by Business Guy LLC) provides an AI phone receptionist and back-office tools (invoice tracking, expenses/profit, document storage) for your business.

Pricing & billing. Plans are billed weekly, monthly, or annually at the rates shown on our pricing page: Receptionist $50/week ($200/month), Full Office $125/week ($500/month), and C.A.R.L. $250/week ($1,000/month); annual billing is discounted. See current plans at serviceblue.app/start. No free trial; billing begins when your office is activated and recurs for the billing period you choose until you cancel. You can pause your subscription for $5/month, which keeps your phone number and account data while service is suspended.

Cancellation. No contracts — cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current paid period (the week, month, or year you selected). To cancel, email help@serviceblue.app; we'll confirm and stop future billing.

Refunds. Weeks already started are non-refundable; you keep access through the end of any week you've paid for. If we charged you in error, contact us and we'll make it right.

Your data on cancellation. You own your business and customer data. On request you can export it, and on cancellation you can ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). See the Privacy Policy.

Service availability. We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we offer no specific uptime SLA at this stage. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable use. Use the service lawfully; don't use it to harass, defraud, send unlawful messages, or violate others' rights. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required to contact your own customers.

Your authorization (answering & recording calls). By activating an office, you authorize Service Blue (Business Guy LLC) to answer, place, and handle calls and messages as your business, and to record and transcribe those calls, on your behalf. You confirm you have the authority to grant this for your business and to direct how its calls are handled. Service Blue is inbound-focused and acts on your instructions — it is a tool you control, not an independent agent.

Phone numbers. Any phone number we provision for your office is provided for use with the service; you do not own the underlying number, and it may be reclaimed if your account is closed for non-payment or cancellation. You're responsible for how your business's number and call forwarding are configured.

Intellectual property. Service Blue — including its software, the AI assistant ("Blue"), and the brand — is owned by Business Guy LLC. You own your business and customer data and the content you provide. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to operate and improve the service.

AI receptionist. Calls are handled by an automated assistant that discloses it is an AI and that calls may be recorded (see AI Disclosure and Call Recording below). Blue is software, not a human, and captures and routes information for you to act on — it does not make decisions on your behalf.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled — see Auto-Renewal Terms below.

Disclaimers & liability. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Guy LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including missed, delayed, or mishandled calls or messages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the total amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law & disputes. See Governing Law & Arbitration below.

Termination. Either party may end the service at any time; your data-export and deletion rights continue to apply after termination.

Auto-Renewal Terms

Automatic renewal. Your plan is billed in advance and renews automatically for the same period you selected (weekly, monthly, or annually) at the then-current rate, until you cancel. Plans are $50/week (Receptionist), $125/week (Full Office), and $250/week (C.A.R.L.); billing begins when your office is activated.

Cancel anytime. Email help@serviceblue.app (a reply to any message from us works too) and we'll cancel it for you — no hoops, no fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you keep access through that period.

Price changes. If we change your recurring price, we will give you advance notice before the new price takes effect, so you can cancel first if you choose.

Pause option. You can pause your subscription for $5/month, which keeps your phone number and account data while service is suspended.

Governing Law & Arbitration

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration seated in Sheridan, Wyoming. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party bears its own costs except as the AAA rules or the arbitrator provide.

To the extent any claim is not subject to arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Wyoming will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there.

AI Disclosure

Blue is an automated assistant, not a human. When she answers or messages on your business's behalf, callers and contacts are told they're speaking with an AI assistant. A request to reach a human is always honored.

This disclosure is provided up front, on every channel (voice, text, email), to meet applicable AI-disclosure requirements.

Not professional advice. Blue's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and Blue does not claim any professional license or credential. For anything that requires a licensed professional, please consult one; do not rely on Blue for high-stakes decisions. In a life-safety emergency, hang up and call 911.

Call Recording & AI Disclosure

AI disclosure first. On every call, Blue identifies herself as an automated (AI) assistant — she is software, not a human — and a request to reach a person is always honored.

Recording disclosed before it starts. At the very start of every call, all parties hear an audible disclosure — "This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes." The disclosure is spoken and logged before any recording begins. Recording proceeds on an all-party-consent basis: continuing the call after the disclosure indicates consent. If you'd prefer not to be recorded, you can end the call or ask to be connected to a person.

All-party (two-party) consent states. Several states require all parties to consent to recording. Our disclosure-first approach is designed to obtain that consent in these states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

California cross-state rule. Where a call involves a party in California, California's all-party-consent rule may apply even if the other party is in a one-party-consent state. Because our disclosure is played to all parties on every call regardless of location, the stricter standard is met.

As the business owner, you are responsible for your own use of recordings and for any additional notice your jurisdiction or industry requires.

SMS Messaging Terms

Program name: Service Blue Notifications.

Program description: Service Blue sends transactional, account-related text messages on behalf of registered small businesses across many industries (e.g. home services, retail, food service, salons, auto, real estate, professional services). Messages include appointment confirmations and reminders, appointment/status updates, invoice and payment notifications, and replies to customer inquiries. Messages are not marketing or promotional. End users are the customers of these businesses who provide their phone number and consent when booking service.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity (for example, when you book, when an appointment is updated, or when an invoice is issued).

Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier according to your plan.

To opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. After you send STOP, you'll receive one confirmation message and no further texts.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How consent is obtained: Customers opt in on the web. At serviceblue.app/request a customer enters their phone number and checks two unchecked-by-default boxes — neither is required to submit, so consent is freely given: (1) "I agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy." and (2) "I agree to receive transactional or conversational communications from Business Guy LLC via text messages and phone calls related to my service request, such as appointment confirmations, reminders, status updates, and responses. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Your information is secure and will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional purposes." The boxes are never pre-checked and are not required to submit the form. Consent is collected specifically for this messaging program and is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional purposes.

Privacy: Service Blue does not sell or share mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
